Peterborough will not be following up their initial interest in Kidderminster striker Jamille Matt, according to Posh director of football Barry Fry.

Fry has watched Matt, who has scored 10 goals for the Blue Square Bet Premier side this season, on a handful of occasions.

It is also understood that manager Darren Ferguson has been to see the 21-year-old in action.

However, Fry told the Evening Telegraph: "I watched the player about six weeks ago and we've had another look at him since.

"We haven't made a bid for him though and we won't be making one."
