Plymouth boss Carl Fletcher was pleased with his players' response to going behind during the 1-1 draw away to Wycombe.

Matt McClure gave Wycombe the lead after 11 minutes, heading home a Gareth Ainsworth cross before Guy Madjo's header from an excellent Alex MacDonald's cross gave the Pilgrims a share of the points.

Fletcher said: "We could have had three points tonight but we could have got none as well.

"We knew it was going to be tough. Obviously Wycombe had just changed their manager and it was the first home game since the change.

"The players and the fans were always going to be up for it.

"Once we conceded I was pleased with the way we responded, and we actually passed the ball around."
