Obadeyi in Argyle picture

Plymouth look set to hand new signing Temitope Obadeyi a debut when they make the trip to Lincoln.

The Pilgrims, keen to avoid being the victims of a shock for the third successive season, added the 24-year-old Bury striker to their squad on Thursday and he was granted permission by his parent club to feature in the cup tie.

Manager John Sheridan had been searching for another forward since Marvin Morgan suffered a shoulder injury and his need for forwards was reinforced when Paul Hayes returned to Brentford following a one-month stay at Home Park.

Argyle make the trip to Sincil Bank looking for their third straight victory after back-to-back 1-0 victories in Sky Bet League Two.
