Plymouth are said to be closing in on a swoop for former Nottingham Forest midfielder Eugen Bopp.
Bopp has impressed while on trial with the Pilgrims and boss Paul Mariner, who is keen to strengthen, looks set to offer him a deal until the end of the season.
Mariner is now locked in talks with Bopp, who has been without a club since he was released by Crewe at the end of the season, and a deal could be pushed through in the coming days.
