New loanee Ronan Murray could come straight into the starting line-up against Morecambe for John Sheridan's first game in charge.

The 30-year-old former Everton striker will miss the Pilgrims' next six games after being sent off against Port Vale and his place could be taken by Ipswich loanee Murray who arrived on Thursday.

Fellow forward Tyler Harvey returned to training this week after a calf injury, which he suffered in the 1-0 home defeat by Wycombe, and he is expected to be included in the squad.

Paul Wotton played for 75 minutes in the 4-0 defeat at Vale Park having been sidelined since September with a back injury and he is likely to start again for the npower League Two strugglers.

Sheridan was appointed as the new Argyle boss on Sunday, replacing Carl Fletcher in the managerial hot seat.
