Sturrock still searching

PlymouthPlymouth manager Paul Sturrock says he is still hopeful he can bring in some new talent before the transfer window shuts.

Nicky Law, from Sheffield United, and Denes Rosa, from Wolves, have been on trial at Home Park but have failed to show that they would offer something different to the club.

Sturrock has now told the pair thanks but no thanks as he continues to search for some experienced players to strengthen his side.

"They're good players but they are similar to players we already have in our squad,"

However Sturrock did express his delight with his latest recruit Craig Noone who scored on his reserve team debut against Exeter on Tuesday.

The Argyle boss stated: "I am very pleased with Noone. You can see the boy can play. It is his strength he is going to have to work on."
