Dickinson out for Vale

Last Updated: Fri, 18 Oct 2013 10:59

Carl Dickinson is suspended for Port Vale's trip to managerless Sheffield United.

Dickinson received his fifth yellow card of the season during the home defeat to Peterborough last weekend and the defender will serve a one-match ban at Bramall Lane.

Vale boss Micky Adams, returning to his former club, has said he intends to attack the bottom team which could mean a return to the starting line up for winger Jennison Myrie-Williams.

The likes of Louis Dodds, Chris Shuker, Ben Williamson, Richard Duffy and Chris Birchall are also options, although Adams is not expected to make too many changes. Gavin Tomlin (toe) remains on the sidelines.
