Martin Foyle says he is hoping to bolster his Port Vale ranks with two new loan signings following a number of injuries.

Colin Miles and Jason Talbot are facing spells on the sidelines and Foyle is hoping to strengthen his squad with a couple of experienced loan signings.

"Colin Miles had a tight calf and then Jason Talbot was in a bad way and was rushed to hospital," Foyle told the club's official website. "It causes us even more problems and we could do with covering their absence.

"A lot of clubs are trying to bring players in before the deadline but we don't want to bring young lads in because they've got a lot to learn, and the way to learn is by making mistakes."
