Portsmouth have given ex-Charlton striker Chris Dickson a trial in hope of easing their injury woes up front.
Dickson played in yesterday's 2-1 defeat against Leyton Orient as the development friendly was the perfect chance for the free agent to win a contract.
With Tom Craddock injured and David Connolly suspended, Pompey are lacking firepower.
Currently without a club since leaving Chinese Super League team Shanghai East Asia, the Ghanaian international has played in both the Champions League and Europa League with Cypriot champions AEL Limassol, scoring a goal against French giants Marseille in the process.
Portsmouth travel to Burton this Saturday, but whether Dickson will be on board is now a decision boss Alan McLoughlin needs to make.
