Harry Redknapp is ready to tempt Hibs with a £4million offer for midfielder Steven Fletcher, according to reports.
The Scotland international has made big strides north of the border and has reportedly even had Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona monitoring his progress.
Palermo, Marseille, Porto and Werder Bremen could also rival Old Firm enemies Celtic and Rangers in the chase for his signature if Hibs decide to cash in, with Redknapp also ready to offer the Shrewsbury-born star a route back to England.
Redknapp has confirmed he wants to beef up his squad for an assault on the Uefa Cup next season and Fletcher would provide welcome competition for places in the Pompey engine room.
