Sol Campbell has indicated that he will leave Portsmouth this summer although a Fratton Park extension is among his options.

The 34-year-old is out of contract this summer and with uncertainty still hanging over Pompey, as they await a potential buyout, it looks like the former England man could move on.

Campbell is understood to be a target for a number of Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, and appears set to end his three-year spell at Fratton Park.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Campbell revealed: "There's a few options out there. I'm out of contract and I'm going to listen to different offers. I want to make the right choice.

"In the next two to three years I want to be in the right situation. The chairman, the manager and people like that, I like them to be really close together to move the club on.

"At the moment with Portsmouth it just seems there are a lot of things in the background. It may resolve itself, I don't know, but for me, as a player, I want to be in the right environment."
