Amoo leaves North End for Rovers

Tranmere have completed the signing of David Amoo following the winger's release from Preston.

Former Liverpool youngster Amoo had his one-year contract at Deepdale terminated by mutual consent on Wednesday after making nine starts and 15 substitute appearances for Graham Westley's men, and the npower League One leaders moved quickly to secure the 21-year-old for the rest of the season.

A club statement from Preston read: "Preston North End would like to thank David for his efforts while at the club and wish him all the best with his future career."
