Preston full-back David Buchanan believes Brentford will be well aware of the steep task facing them at Deepdale this weekend.

North End return to their own patch this weekend following a resounding win over boss Graham Westley's former club last time out.

"They're going well," Buchanan told Press Association Sport. "Ever since I've been in League One they've always been at the right end of the table, have got very experienced players and dangerous people who can punish you.

"So it's going to be a tough game but, saying that, they've got to come to Deepdale. They know how good our home record is. They'll have seen that result on Sunday and stood up and taken notice.

"We respect our opponents as we always but the main thing is we concentrate on ourselves and know that if we play our best we can beat anyone in the league."
