New boss Darren Ferguson has refused to rule out a late surge into the Championship play-offs this season.

The Scot picked up his first win at the third time of asking in midweek at former club Peterborough and with home games against Ipswich and Barnsley to come, he is eyeing a maximum six points.

Ferguson said: "If we can manage to get six points out of the next two league games then we'll be close to the play-offs which I'll be happy about."
