Luke Foster has put pen to paper on a permanent deal at Preston.

Former Rotherham defender Foster initially joined North End on non-contract terms following a trial period, making his debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shoot-out victory over Bury last month.

The 27-year-old is looking to add to his three subsequent appearances when Graham Westley's men travel to Millwall in the FA Cup this weekend and he will remain at Deepdale until the end of the season.
