Reading forward Noel Hunt is back in contention for the Royals' trip to Stoke.

Hunt has missed the last two Barclays Premier League games with an unspecified injury but is in the squad that will travel to the Britannia Stadium.

Manager Brian McDermott will be hoping Jamaica international trio Adrian Mariappa, Jobi McAnuff and Garath McCleary will have returned unscathed following a midweek draw in Mexico.

Experienced striker Jason Roberts (hip) and goalkeeper Alex McCarthy (shoulder) remain sidelined.
