Preston have signed Leeds right-back Paul Connolly on loan for the rest of the season.

The 29-year-old, who started his career at Plymouth, joined Leeds from Derby in 2010 but was put on the transfer list at the end of the 2011/12 campaign and has not been involved in the first team this term.

Connolly had a spell on loan at Portsmouth earlier this season but has now moved to Deepdale and he will hope to make his debut in Saturday's trip to Yeovil.
