PrestonPreston look set to have Callum Davidson, Sean St Ledger and Billy Jones available for selection for Saturday's clash with Charlton.

Davidson has won his battle to be fit to face the Addicks having been suffering with a knee problem, the former Scotland man returning to training with the rest of the squad on Thursday.

Speaking about the 32-year-old's progress, Irvine said: "Fingers crossed he will be okay to join up with the squad this time."

Meanwhile, centre-half St Ledger and right-back Jones both have facial injuries, a broken nose and an eye wound respectively, picked up in the Carling Cup defeat to Derby.
