Joey Barton says the club are reaping the benefits of new manager Mark Hughes and claims they are more organised than before.
Hughes' arrival has lead to a clean sheet and fresh start for all the players in the squad and Akos Buzsaky and Tommy Smith both took their chances at the weekend with goals against Wigan in the 3-1 win.
"There's obviously a different way of doing things and the lads are really embracing the new methods," Barton told the club's official website.
"It's certainly a lot different to those things I've been used to in my short time at the club."
QPR play west London rivals Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday and Barton has called for his side to keep up their momentum.
"We've got a big FA Cup tie coming up this weekend and we'll be looking to crank it up another level. This is only the start - we can get a lot, lot better."
