Captain set for return

QPRQPR captain Martin Rowlands is set to continue his comeback from injury with a start against Carlisle in Tuesday's Carling Cup showdown

Rowlands, who is Rangers' longest serving player, has also just completed a three match ban that carried over from last season.

Boss Iain Dowie is expected to make changes all over the pitch for the tie with Carlisle and QPR could line up with Hogan Ephraim, Kaspars Gorkss, Patrick Ageymand, Samuel Di Carmine and Lee Camp in a much changed side from the one that saw off Doncaster Rovers over the weekend.

Carlisle will be without striker Scott Dobie, who is suspended and Josh Gowling, who has a broken nose, for the clash at Loftus Road.
