Coventry City are closing in on a deal to sign QPR left back Damien Delaney after the clubs agreed a fee of £700,000.

Coventry have been interested in Delaney for quite some time and have agreed a fee for the former Hull player.

However the move can only be completed when QPR boss Jim Magilton is back from a coaching course next week.

The Sky Blues have also been linked with Leicester's Joe Mattock as well as Roy Keane's former Manchester United colleague Quinton Fortune.
