Rowan Vine is set to start in the QPR forward line for Saturday's visit of Scunthorpe United to Loftus Road.

The striker, who has recently returned from a hernia operation, came through a brief run out in Tuesday's 5-0 thrashing at Nottingham Forest with no problems and Mick Harford could be tempted to pitch him into the starting XI alongside Arsenal loanee Jay Simpson.

Winger Lee Cook will also hope to feature after making the bench for the first time this season at the City Ground having recovered from summer knee surgery.

Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme will get the nod ahead of Radek Cerny after extending his loan spell from Wolves until April, while Kaspars Gorkss, Damion Stewart and Matt Connolly will vie for two spots at centre-half following Fitz Hall's switch to Newcastle.
