QPR are set to be disappointed in their chase for Marseille striker Loic Remy after reports in France claimed he was not interested.
The 26-year-old looks to be on his way during the January transfer window and boss Harry Redknapp flew to France at the weekend to try and tie up a deal for the front man who has 17 caps at international level.
Both Newcastle and West Ham have been interested in the player with Newcastle leading the chase as they look to replace Demba Ba, who has jumped ship for Chelsea.
Unconfirmed reports in France on Sunday night suggested that the striker had no desire to join either QPR or Newcastle leaving a possible move to West Ham on the cards.
