QPR boss Mark Hughes believes his side's performance in a 1-1 draw against Everton bodes well for the Premier League run-in.
Royston Drenthe broke the deadlock from long-range before Bobby Zamora bundled home an Akos Buzsaky free-kick five minutes later to earn a point.
"I think we made it tough for them," he said. "We didn't allow them to play.
"I thought in terms of which team affected the game most, I think it was certainly the way we played. We were excellent in terms of closing people down and obviously trying to effect the game in a positive manner going the other way.
"It is obviously a difficult game against Everton and you know you're going to come under pressure in terms of their set play work. But apart from a few balls into the box and a couple of errors in poor areas, that was the only threat really.
"I am delighted with what we have produced. Ideally we would have preferred three points out of the game but, in terms of the manner of the performance, I am pleased with what we produced."
