QPR boss Mark Hughes is set to offer midfield play maker Adel Taarabt a much improved contract to keep him at Loftus Road.
Last summer the Moroccan was expected to leave the R's and move on to Paris Saint Germain, but that move never materialised and he stayed at Loftus Road.
After a unsettled first half to the campaign, Taarabt has found his Premier League feet under Mark Hughes and is now appears to be one of the first names on the team sheet.
His current deal runs out in 14 months, so club officials are eager for him to put pen-to-paper on a new deal this summer to ensure he stays with the Hoops.
