Rangers take off with new deal

QPR have announced Gulf Air as their official shirt sponsor in a big-money three-year deal to replace Car Giant.

The sponsorship will also see the introduction of a Gulf Air supporter loyalty scheme for Rangers fans, the prospect of a football community scouting program based in the Middle East and various community-based initiatives.

Favio Briatore, chairman of QPR Holdings Limited, said: "I am extremely excited and privileged to be announcing a partnership with Gulf Air."

Last week Rangers unveiled Santander as their official financial partner.
