Harry Redknapp feels Ravel Morrison could go on to become one of the best English players of his generation.
West Ham loanee Morrison grabbed both goals as QPR got their promotion bid back on track with a 2-0 win at Birmingham on Saturday.
City boss Lee Clark, who had the England Under-21 midfielder on loan last season, compared him to a young Paul Gascoigne following the match.
And Rangers chief Redknapp was also impressed, saying: "There's a shortage of talent in the world of players like Ravel, especially in England.
"The kid has everything to be a great player.
"I just hope he can continue to keep on doing what he's doing and go on to become the player he is undoubtedly capable of being.
"My son Jamie first mentioned Ravel to me when he knew I was looking for someone who could play in behind the striker.
"He said 'you've always had a (Paolo) Di Canio or a (Paul) Merson who can do something special' and he's right.
"I love working with talented players like Ravel, players who can do something different, something special."
