R's hit by double suspension blow

Mikele Leigertwood and Peter Ramage are suspended for QPR's visit of Ipswich to Loftus Road on Tuesday evening.

Midfielder Leigertwood was handed a straight red card during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Peterborough and starts a three-match ban, while defender Ramage must sit out one game following his dismissal for two bookings at London Road.

Boss Mick Harford is set to fill the void left by Leigertwood with Akos Buzsaky or Hogan Ephraim, while Matt Connolly will move across to cover Ramage's absence at right-back with Damion Stewart recalled to the back four.

On-loan Tottenham forward Adel Taarabt and could be added to the squad after missing the Posh defeat, while Arsenal loanee Jay Simpson will push to start in attack after coming on as a substitute.

Martin Rowlands and Gavin Mahon are long-term absentees with knee injuries.
