Queens Park Rangers have finally wrapped up an emergency loan swoop for Bolton striker Heidar Helguson.
The 31-year-old Iceland international, who scored the winner for his country against Malta on Wednesday, will move to Loftus Road until the end of January and becomes new R's coach Paulo Sousa's first signing since his arrival at the London club.
Helguson has slipped down the pecking order at the Reebok Stadium so will relish the chance of playing some first-team football with QPR. The striker is set to go straight into the squad this weekend for the game against his former club Watford.
