QPR will be without the services of forward Djibril Cisse against Arsenal on Saturday as he serves the first game of a four-match ban.

The French international was shown a red card for the second time in his short R's career at former club Sunderland last weekend.

However, manager Mark Hughes could be boosted for the game with the Gunners by the return of two other strikers from injury as DJ Campbell and Heidar Helguson are both making good progress after hamstring and knee problems respectively.

Joey Barton is also in contention for a recall after being left out of the starting line-up against the Black Cats after a poor showing in the previous match against Liverpool where he came under fire from the club's supporters.

Hughes won't be able to call on defender Armand Traore against his old club though as he is at least a week away from a comeback after picking up his own hamstring niggle.
