Turkish club Bursaspor are keen on signing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand on loan for the rest of the season.
Rangers have reportedly received an approach for Ferdinand but a deal remains some way off happening as boss Harry Redknapp will not allow the former Sunderland man to leave unless he finds a replacement this month.
Bursaspor are looking to take Ferdinand, who is out of favour at Loftus Road, on loan until the summer and it is thought Ferdinand would be open to such a switch in order to get back playing regular first-team football.
Since Redknapp's arrival at Loftus Road, the 27-year-old has more often than not been an unused substitute but the boss will not let him go without bringing someone else in at the back, particularly as fellow centre-back Ryan Nelsen's departure to take over as Toronto boss in Canada has now been confirmed.
Ferdinand, signed in August 2011, has made 44 league appearances for QPR since his arrival from the Black Cats.
