Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock is likely to hand a debut to on-loan striker Federico Macheda in their FA Cup clash at MK Dons.
The Italian striker joined the R's in a temporary deal from Manchester United earlier this week and is set to be plunged straight into the starting line-up for the third round tie against the high-flying League One outfit.
United are more than happy for Macheda to be involved in the FA Cup and is expected to get his chance alongside fellow forward Rob Hulse as Warnock plans to shuffle his pack to keep his players fresh following the demands of the festive period.
Definitely out of the game is skipper Joey Barton as he must serve a three-match ban following his controversial sending off against Norwich, while Armand Traore and Adel Taarabt are unlikely to feature due to the upcoming African Nations Cup.
