Barry Ferguson is closing in on a return to the Rangers first-team and could be back for the game against Hamilton on October 25."Ferguson is getting close now," boss Walter Smith told the club's website. "He will have a full week's training and all going well he will play in a reserve game on Tuesday.
"The physios are working very hard with him and they have been stepping up his training and I hope that next week will be the start of the comeback for him."
