Gers handed double fitness boost

Kevin Thomson and Lee McCulloch will boost Rangers by being fit and available for the Champions League qualifier against FBK Kaunas.

The duo missed Saturday's friendly at Raith Rovers due to a respective slight knee knock and a throat infection. However they are both ready for selection as Walter Smith's men do battle at Ibrox on Wednesday.

Skipper Barry Ferguson is still sidelined with an ankle injury, while Carlos Cuellar misses out after sustaining a calf injury but could be fit in time for next week's second round, second leg encounter in Lithuania.
