Gers handed tough draw

RangersRangers have been drawn to face either Aalborg or Modrica in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, if they beat Kaunas.

The Gers still have it all to do if they are to make it through to the third round following a goalless draw against their Lithuanian opponents on Wednesday night.

Walter Smith's men now have to travel to FBK Kaunas and get a result before they can start to think about either Aalborg, who are from Denmark, or Bosnian outfit Modrica in the next round.

The first legs of the third qualifying round are to be played on August 12/13, with the second legs on August 26/27.
