Blackpool manager Ian Holloway insists wages will not prevent any future deal with Rangers for former loan player Charlie Adam.

Holloway was not in charge at Bloomfield Road when Adam arrived from Ibrox for his temporary stay but is keen to sign the winger and is confident the two clubs can reach an agreement.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Holloway said: "I don't think his wages will be a problem, but it all boils down to whether the chairman can come to a deal with Rangers for him.

"He's very good with the ball at his feet, attacking the opposition defence, so he would be a great addition."
