Smith eyes striker return

RangersRangers boss Walter Smith is hopeful Kenny Miller will be fit for the game against Dundee United following a hamstring injury.

The striker has been forced to pull out of Scotland's World Cup qualifiers because of the problem but Smith hopes he will return next weekend after having an injection.

"He played on Sunday but the injury has been aggravating him for quite a while," Smith revealed. "Hopefully the injection will clear that and he'll be ready for the game against Dundee United."
