Lee McCulloch has been declared fit to face Unirea tonight, although Walter Smith may switch him back to a midfield anchor role.

The former Motherwell and Wigan midfielder was being deployed in the back four prior to suffering a thigh injury during the draw with Hibernian last month.

He travelled to Bucharest and is available to feature as the Gers look to restore some pride and keep their slim hopes of qualification alive against the Romanian champions.

Youth team centre back Danny Wilson, 17, is being tipped to retain his place alongside David Weir with Madjid Bougherra still not recovered from the knee injury he picked up in training a few weeks ago.

Kyle Lafferty, Nacho Novo, Stevie Smith and Jerome Rothen are in contention for the left-wing berth.

Unirea are likely to be without Bruno Fernandes after he limped out of their win over Craiova at the weekend with a thigh injury.

Fit-again keeper Giedrius Arlauskis is expected to replace Daniel Tudor - who started in goal at Ibrox.
