Striker offer on table

Rangers have stepped up their bid to sign Cardiff City star Glenn Loovens - offering striker Daniel Cousin in part-exchange.

Ibrox boss Walter Smith is willing to lose the Gabon international striker to force through a deal for Loovens because he is desperate to land his top target.
