Reading boss Brian McDermott is unlikely to add anymore players to his squad during the current transfer window.

The new Royals boss has already added Zurab Khizanishvili, Gunnar Thorvaldsson and Andy Griffin on loan during January and knows the loan window opens again in seven days time if he wants to add any more to his squad for the relegation battle ahead.

McDermott told the club's website: "With Khizanishvili, Thorvaldsson and Griffin we've added a lot of games to the squad and it was important do that, it gives us that stability.

"And in terms of other loans we can still do something in February if we needed to."
