Reading's Shane Long says the side must go on a winning streak in their next two matches to pull away from the bottom of the table.

Having netted the winner over Barnsley at home last weekend Long is now looking for the side to build on that victory with wins over Doncaster and then Plymouth in the next two matches.

He told the club's website: "It was the start of three important games, three games we need to get points out of. The teams above us seem to be picking up points every week so we can't let a gap open up.

"Doncaster away followed by Plymouth at home - they are games we need to get points out of."
