No offers for duo - boss

Brian McDermott says there has been no interest in Reading duo Simon Church and Jay Tabb, who can both leave on loan.

The duo have been told they are free to leave the Madejski Stadium on loan if interested clubs come forward but that has yet to happen and both players remain at the club.

Tabb and Church fall out of contract in the summer and a loan spell away would give them the perfect opportunity to showcase their talents, but for now it is not happening.

McDermott said: "They know they can leave if it means regular football but there have been no calls yet. We will see what happens."

One player who has got a move away is Kaspars Gorkss after he joined Wolves on loan but McDermott says there is the option to bring him back should he be needed.

"Kaspars is there on loan but we have a recall after 28 days," he added. "Kaspars did a great job last season when we won promotion and he has been involved in a lot of games for us this season.

"But he wants to play games which we can't guarantee so we were happy to loan him out to Wolves."
