Reading need to be tight - defender

Sean Morrison says Reading's priority is to stay tight at the back and he believes their first league win is just around the corner.

The Royals are still searching for their first Premier League win of the season since returning to the top flight but head into Saturday's home game with Everton on the back of two draws.

Last week's goalless draw with Norwich can be the platform, according to Morrison, for Reading to build on and more clean sheets is key.

"The teams that are successful are usually the ones who keep the most clean sheet," he told the club's website. "So that's what we're trying to do. The lads will get the ball in the net at the other end so we're not worried about not scoring.

"We've had two important games recently and two draws - so it's not too bad. We just need to keep being solid at the back and throughout the team."

He added: "It hasn't quite happened for us on the pitch yet but the group of lads we've got all get on well and train hard every day. If we can keep those clean sheets then we'll soon shoot up the league."
