Pavel Pogrebnyak believes Reading have little chance of staying up but says he will still put his future on hold until the summer.
The Royals fought out a goalless draw against Liverpool at the weekend, and, although the performance was much improved, it did little to help their chances of survival.
If they are relegated then Pogrebnyak looks certain to move on to pastures new with a return to Russia a possibility.
However, the striker would prefer to put all future talks on hold for now and concentrate on the relegation battle even though he admits the chances of staying up are slim.
"Everything will be decided by the end of the season," he revealed. "Believe me, I don't have time to think about my contract. All of my thoughts are about the Reading games.
"I think we have very little chance (of avoiding relegation) but we'll fight until the end."
