Bolton have joined the race to sign Kevin Doyle and are ready to pay the £6.5million asking price for the Reading striker.
The Republic of Ireland ace looks certain to move this summer after failing to win promotion back to the Premiership and Trotters boss Gary Megson is keen but faces strong competition for the player as Fulham, Sunderland and Wolves are all ready to offer the asking price.
The striker has already held talks with Wolves boss Mick McCarthy and looks as though he will not be short of suitors.
