New Reading boss Brian McDermott is set to hand Zurab Khizanishvili his debut for the club when Barnsley visit on Saturday.

It is McDermott's first home match in charge since being officially named as the new boss of the club and he is set to name Khizanishvili after he was an unused substitute during the midweek defeat at Sheffield United.

The Royals have no new injury worries but will be without Noel Hunt, Chris Armstrong and Julian Kelly who all remain on the sidelines.
