Double defensive blow for Dale

Last Updated: Fri, 29 Nov 2013 12:28

Rochdale will be without suspended central defenders Olly Lancashire and Jack O'Connell at York.

Lancashire was sent off for two yellow card offences in the midweek defeat to Scunthorpe and sits out a one-game ban, while O'Connell received a straight red card and is suspended for three matches.

Another defender, Joe Rafferty, missed out against Scunthorpe due to a knock so Rhys Bennett stepped in and will be hoping to retain his place at right-back.

Lee Molyneux, a recent loan signing from Crewe, could be in line for his full debut after stepping off the bench in midweek as Dale chase back-to-back away league wins.
