Hogan in Dale frame

Last Updated: Fri, 08 Nov 2013 08:28

Rochdale striker Scott Hogan is hoping to return to the starting line-up in his side's FA Cup tie at Torquay.

Hogan has not started a league game since October 5 due to a heel injury but stepped off the bench for the last 15 minutes in the midweek defeat to AFC Wimbledon and came through unscathed.

Fellow forward George Donnelly remains doubtful with the unspecified injury that kept him out on Tuesday night, while skipper Peter Cavanagh (Achilles) faces several more weeks on the sidelines after returning to light training.

Manager Keith Hill could be tempted to make one or two unforced changes as his side bid to bounce back from two successive defeats.
