Rotherham will welcome back Kari Arnason for the trip to Oxford.

The versatile Iceland international missed last weekend's dismal home defeat to Barnet due to a one-match suspension and he will come straight back into Steve Evans' side.

Skipper Ian Sharps could be the man to make way as the centre-half appears to heading for the exit door of the New York Stadium after the club fielded several calls about his availability.

Fellow defender Craig Morgan (foot) and goalkeeper Scott Shearer (elbow) are the only occupants of the treatment room and will be out for a couple more weeks.

Top scorer Daniel Nardiello was dropped for that loss against the Bees, which saw the Millers drop out of the automatic promotion places, and Evans could be tempted to recall him up front.

The Millers will be relishing a return to the road having won their last four away league games.
