Jamahl Lolesi has signed a new two-year contract with Huddersfield which will keep him at the Galpharm Stadium until late 2011.
The 28-year-old has made over 60 appearances for the West Yorkshire club since joining from ARL side Wests Tigers in 2007 and has played a key role in the Giants solid start to the season - they currently sit fourth in Super League and are into the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
Lolesi, who can play at either centre or at second row, is predicting a bright future for Huddersfield and is pleased to have committed to the Giants' cause.
The New Zealand international admitted: "It's really good news we've sorted a deal out.
"The club is on the brink of some good things and I want to be a part of it."
Lolesi added: "I've achieved what I wanted to achieve in Australia with winning the Premiership and representing my country. The next step is over here and the big challenge now is to achieve something here in Super League and the Challenge Cup."
